This is an enormous quilt, so probably not a lap or lounge quilt – haha. Suited to a queen or king sized bed. Gorgeous colours, I was making it when my friend first went to Antarctica and brought back pics with all these colours in there.

Quilt Size: 240.5cm x 240.5cm (95.25 x 95.25″)
Made with Cotton Fabrics, and wool poly wadding.
The backing is pieced, using stripes of blending batik fabric (including a piece with penguins on it), and stripes of fabrics used in the quilt top. The quilting design is a large sirly curvy design using a mid range blue thread. The bind is a blue stripe fabric used in the quilt top.
The quilt design is by Eileen Wright and is contained in her book Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts.
This quilt can be washed either by hand or in the machine on a gentle, cold cycle.
I usually use colour catchers in the wash too, to catch any dye runs which have been missed in the prewash.
I usually dry my quilts on the line, but you can put it in the dryer on a warm not hot cycle.
