The backing is a low volume pale pink floral and dot design on white.  The quilting is a very cute chickadee bird flittering all over the place, using a pale pink thread.  The bind is white.

This quilt can be washed either by hand or in the machine on a gentle, cold cycle.  I have prewashed the strong colours, but I would advise using colour catchers in the first couple of washes just in case it runs.

The pictures show the white as a shadow, but I have found that altering the light means the colours of the design fabrics don’t stay true.

I usually dry my quilts on the line, but you can put it in the dryer on a warm not hot cycle.
