This is a very large quilt and comfortably fits on a Queen sized bed with overhang. The design of the quilt is called a braid, and in this case the colours flow across the width of the quilt in a chevron style design.

Wool/poly wadding
The quilt is made using different Kaffe Fassett fabrics, in a braid design. The back is a mottled green/yellow/grey batik fabric. The quilting is a large feathery design using a pale green/yellow thread. The binding is the same fabric as used in the outside borders.
This quilt can be washed either by hand or in the machine on a gentle, cold cycle.
I usually dry my quilts on the line, but you can put it in the dryer on a warm not hot cycle.
