Lime and Berry purple – a striking combination! I collected these fabrics wherever I went and finally found the perfect border fabric.
It was completed in June 2011 and has been hanging in my house in a protected-from-light area, and the colours are still as vibrant as ever.

The backing is a black and white crysanthemum design in a wideback (with no seam).
It is custom quilted mostly using the Statler with my own digitised designs or combinations of lines and curves designed just for this quilt.There is a little freehand – the feathers in the purple and the lightest lime in the middle.
Quilt design is by Jane Hardy Miller, from her “French Braid Quilts”. Original pattern name: It’s always Green in Miami”.
It has a rod pocket already on the back, ready for hanging. This will not impede the use of this quilt on the bed.
