I was feeling the love for all things pink when I made this checkerboard quilt. The checked blocks have 36 x 1inch blocks in them and are all scrappy and diverse but overall read as pink. The outside border is a lawn fabric with a pink floral design on it.
It is single bed size or would work over the back of a lounge.

Made with Cotton Fabrics and cotton wadding.
The backing is a white-on-white wide backing with a floral design. The quilting design is a starry floral with leaves using a white thread. The bind is the same magenta/pink as the inside border.
This quilt can be washed either by hand or in the machine on a gentle, cold cycle.
I usually use colour catchers in the wash too, to catch any dye runs which have been missed in the prewash, in particular the pink outside border
I usually dry my quilts on the line, but you can put it in the dryer on a warm not hot cycle.
