This quilt was started with the idea that I would follow the pattern by Kim McLean, but ended up not making the complicated borders, I used a lovely bright blending Kaffe Fassett designed fabric instead.
It would make a lovely wall hanging, needs a rod pocket, or a lap quilt.

Made with Cotton Fabrics and cotton wadding
The backing is a multi colour stripe, with a striped red/orange/pink bind. The quilting is a modern floral design in very pale pink thread
The original quilt design is by Kim McLean, called The Flower Garden. The floral applique is stitched by hand. The construction of the quilt is by machine.
This quilt can be washed either by hand or in the machine on a gentle, cold cycle.
I usually dry my quilts on the line, but you can put it in the dryer on a warm not hot cycle.
