I bought a new ruler – I have a ruler problem haha, so had to try it out. This design was originally in red white and blue, but I pulled these pretty teal green and purple fabrics, complemented with grey grunge and a white, and got to work. It is a very effective pattern, and so many possibilities.
Its not huge, but would go over a lounge for snuggling under or as a topper for a Queen bed.
And, don’t you love it when the wind blows so the quilt looks wonky in the pic?

The back is pieced with a band of extra hexagon shapes, and a complementary geometric teal green and a another complementary floral style fabric on the sides. The quilting is a modern diagonal wavy line using a pale green thread. The bind is a geometric blending teal green check.
The pattern designer is Kristen Moser of The Quilted Life and is called Summer Swag.
This quilt can be washed either by hand or in the machine on a gentle, cold cycle.
I usually dry my quilts on the line, but you can put it in the dryer on a warm not hot cycle.
